Biamp introduce AEC2 Wideband Echo Cancelling System.
Biamp introduce the industry’s first true 20 kHz wideband acoustic echo cancelling processor. The AEC2w is designed to be added to the AudiaFLEX DSP system to improve background noise and also to eradicate room echo, resulting in clearer, more natural sound for all networked conferencing applications.
The newly created proprietary algorithms, together with a high-speed DSP engine, give this Biamp system the very highest quality of sound in any environment. The AEC2w card offers two channels of selectable acoustic echo cancelling to accommodate broadband systems and the latest technologies in teleconferencing.

“The use of distance conferencing on broadband feeds, video conferencing with high quality CODECs and the use of VoIP all demand a sonically superior acoustic echo cancellation,” reported Matt Czyzewski, Vice President of Technical Operations, Biamp Systems. “Our AEC2w provides full range sound of far-end signals and greatly improves the quality of local sound reinforcement systems which include material that has been processed for acoustic echo cancellation.”
